Flag Day. 🇺🇸 Not because government deserves worship. Because the Declaration of Independence still carries one of the most dangerous ideas ever written… Rights do not come from rulers. Free speech. Private property. Conscience. Self sovereignty. The right to question power. The right to be left alone. That is the signal. A flag should never mean obedience. At its best, it means free people standing upright, telling power… you serve us, not the other way around.

Not every beautiful thing needs to be a sunset. Sometimes it’s rain on rocks, a small boxwood, and a few mushrooms that showed up uninvited. Still beautiful.

GM. Nobody owes you momentum. Build it before the world starts asking for your attention.

A useful filter: If it makes you weaker, angrier, lazier, sicker, or more distracted, it’s probably not “just entertainment.” It’s a tax.

Help a neighbor. Not because it scales. Not because it trends. Not because anyone is watching. Because it’s right. And because feeling good after doing good is one of the few returns still worth chasing.

Not my best sleep last night. So today starts with a little caffeine, a little color, and a stubborn decision to get moving anyway. Not every morning has to feel perfect. Some just need to begin…

GM. Last night the storms tested the Midwest. This morning the flowers are still here. A good reminder that strength is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like surviving the night and showing up for each other in the morning. Check on your people. Be the calm someone needs today.
