What is best the best piece of content to help a friend understand that there is no need for a crypto silver to bitcoin’s gold?

Should a nostr user be able to set an “@ rate” to place a price on their attention to a post? There could be an @ rate for people you follow (0 sats) and x sats for anyone else. A user could even pay extra to @ someone to get their attention over the minimum @ rate payers. Seems like a nice feature to filter out spam for those with many followers, but also nice for those with little followers to pay for someone to read their post.
