LinkedIn Is the worst shit in the world, without any doubt. They've blocked my account again, no plausible reason. Just restricted. I've already verified my identity in the past months, but my account was never updated to the status of verified. I hated that crap anyways, but it was being useful to contact new potential users for an app I'm building. I lost months of new connections and posts, without ANY indicative of policy violations. I'll be sure to remember this, for the rest of my life, no matter what. Fuck Linkedin. Also, this is my personal warning for all using this crappy big tech stupidity: don't lose your time. Sooner or later, they can destroy all of your effort in seconds.

A few weeks ago I've started to play with some Wayland code: I wanted a simple WM like Suckless DWM (there's a Wayland version, DWL), without window decorations, a floating-only (stacking) functionality. So I mixed some stuff from wlroots and scenefx repos, and QuackWM has born. It's a bit unstable for a while and it lacks many features, but I've got most applications running on it. I'm not a C developer so don't expect nothing fancy, it just works (even if I don't know exactly why). https://codeberg.org/gntm/quackwm

Clear and objective article, this is a nice, short explanation, demystifying key points about nazism. Published by José Rodolfo G. H. Almeida, in both english and portuguese. 'Contrary to the common narrative that Nazism was right-wing, National Socialism emerged as a form of nationalist socialism, with a particular focus on strengthening the state and centralized economic control. The most obvious difference between Nazism and other socialist movements was the racial element, where the "collective" to be exalted was not the working class, but the Aryan race.' ... 'Regardless of the form that socialism adopted in different places, the result was the same: death and destruction. Wherever it was implemented, socialism left a trail of corpses. From the Soviet Union, with its purges and the Holodomor, to Mao’s China, with the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution, millions of people have perished in the name of “equality.”' https://www.conectados.site/2024/10/duas-faces-da-mesma-moeda.html

"This moral blindness allows oppression and violence to spread, while individuals are reduced to disposable cogs in a collective machine. But it is precisely here that the fatal error lies. Every human being is unique, sacred in their essence, and bearer of inalienable rights, the right to life, liberty, and private property. We are not mere cogs in an abstract system, but individuals with intrinsic value who cannot be sacrificed on the altar of distant utopias." https://www.conectados.site/2023/11/arte-fanatismo-e-violencia.html

I believe that most people on Nostr are freedom seekers. That's why freedom of speech is so important. Free communication is the first pillar of a sane society. Second comes education, which is only possible through freedom of mind and spirit. With these two pillars and a bit of action, we can reach people who are still dormant and help them to understand that most of the things they love depend on freedom to exist. This is becoming a clear vision of a life's mission, at least for me in this moment.
