I thought love was supposed to be easy. Based on trust, respect, communication and mutual ideals. The simplicity of a reassuring presence, true friendship and lots of tenderness.
« All your experiences, all your meditations, all your prayers, all that you do, is self-centred. It is strengthening the "self", adding momentum, gathering momentum, so it is taking you in the opposite direction. Whatever you do to be free from the "self" also is a self-centred activity. » UG Krishnamurti
The quest for the Meaning of life is a universal question, but it presupposes that we believe that life has a meaning, that we believe that we have a place and a purpose in life.
But do we, have a purpose in this world ? And should we set out in search of it ? Or simply be content with the path we’re already in ? How much free will do we have ? And what about Happiness ? Isn't that quest enough ? Is it about sharing ? Self-sufficiency ? Self-confidence ? What about Love ? Is it something we should be looking for ? Isn't Love already everywhere ? Isn't universal Love "acceptance of what is" as well as "acceptance of oneself" ? Do all these questions have an answer ? Do they deserve a quest, or are they innate ?
Sometimes, you get what you want. Other times, you get a lesson in patience, timing, alignment, empathy, compassion, faith, perseverance, resilience, humility, trust, meaning, awareness, resistance, purpose, clarity, grief, beauty and life. Either way, you win.
