https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/pull/261 Two main ideas on how wallets can leverage this during recovery: 1) All of the ecash that NOT in the set is unspent, while all the ecash in the set is considered *possibly* spent and the wallet follows that up with a check-state request. This is the safe mode, where you are sure to recover all ecash. It still has the privacy benefit of not leaking the values for unspent ecash. 2) Prompt the user for an *approximative* balance that they remember they had in the wallet. All of the ecash NOT in the set is unspent, while all the ecash in the set is spent but saved somewhere. 2.a) Now sort the "spent" ecash. Until the recovered balance < prompted balance check-state the largest ecash note such that its amount is still below prompted balance - recovered balance. This second method is a bit more private because you're not automatically leaking all of the signatures.
