Holy shit, after 3.5 weef back and forth. 'vibe coding' my ass, HAMSTR now officially supports offline client zapping using ks oa NWC pre-connected(while still online) wallet over ham radio. OceanSlim is the proud winner of 8 SATS as the first fully functioning zap and published zap from HAMSTR, while DAWN was technically the first as a profile and note zap without a zap receipt being published. You can set up the wallet whenever the client has internet, only need to connect once. After that, the server is completely blind and the client can send as many zaps as they want. You can zap a profile, you can zap a note. You can zap all the way up to the limit of the NWC wallet. LEGAL WARNING: NWC commands are encrypted to protect the NWC wallet funds from being stolen. In many places this is illegal to send on ham bands. But it absolutely works if you want to take the risk, and/or live in a place where this isn't a problem. Then go ahead and try it! Freedom means the ability to share messages back and forth, and to be able to exchange money back and forth with zero or very low censorship ability. I am proud to say HAMSTR now has both. For now only NWC payments can be used, in the future I will add NWC commands like lightning node balance checking, last TX lists, and more. This will be huge for those who don't or can't have access to the internet, but still want or NEED to send and receive bitcoin. Whether because of disaster, internet outages, or governments. The development now gets into more mass ability and appeal, adding the ability to use lora(mesh) devices over reticulum network. This means we can move beyond just ham radio and into more main stream meshtastic type cheap esp32 lora devices, bluetooth serial devices, and more. This will also allow for multi-device streams to work over the network, like lora to ham radio to lora to internet. and so forth. Oh, and this note was sent over VHF Ham Radio via HAMSTR.
