Tell me how this isn't already a world wwwwwrrr Trust and counterparty risk are the fundamentals under all of this. USD global dominance was always because of war and avoiding it. Settle in USD, we'll loan you IMF money, but your country needs to be dependent on conditions that limit your global economic participation. If you use USD, we'll import and buy your shit. Then you need to save your money on US Treasuries to keep it safe. The world is coordinating and turning direction. The US had the trust of the world and ruined it by greed and irresponsible monetary policy. Money is about trust.
