#legostr the final frontier -Polaris/Endurance the happening!!! #Lego didnt provide 2 particular pieces of a particular colour ((orange, funny enough) (did a sub while building)) so i get to call them later this week for support. since i dont have the pieces to replace outta my stockpile (i know my lego) i felt i lost the pieces at first, but no way in hell i lost the only 2 that shuda came as a pair. The RMS Titanic had an issue, not too disimilar. so far, 3 sets that were lacking, within 3 years (third was a recent lego technic blue truck worth like $20usd) and ive been building #legostr a Long Fucking Time. somethings up! a fourth (jaws boat) no sticker sheet., but all pieces

the little odd piece shown below was a very rare piece. One of its kind. i found it quickly, albeit out of chance. i put it in a collague to show the difference of its color among the more common pieces. with #legostr , one must understand colors and coordination. its a skill

The building has begun i use a seat coushin, for obvious reason, tho i stand up frequently to look for parts. i tend to remove pieces with large surface area to see more of the lot for quick finds (almost feels like panning for gold, since i empty all bags at once, +dopamine) special/smooth peices i remove to avoid wear and teat while i dig through to pieces this is the madness of a lego maniac #legostr

#legostr the project begins. just unpacking the majority of the box itself was a good effort, little bags within smaller bags, around 40-50 plastic bags in total. i do it all at once and not bag by bag to build lego sets the way they were inetended to be built. i enjoy the challenge of finding pieces mixed into a mess (and ive gotten pretty good @ it). it does add time to the build which makes it, to me, more valuable/challenging, + no more fking plastic bags to deal with. box used has a baby blanket to muffle the sound of scouting for pieces. its a trademarked design, open source guys. i got back into building after havin kids, dont need to wake them up with my lego problem/addiction
