We've been above freezing for awhile, but these icicle columns are stubborn. today is headed to near 70. Perhaps we will finally see the rest of the meltening. As the LFTN spring workshop has shaped up, I've been getting increasingly excited about it. Alan Booker, Jack Spirko, Emily Zanotti... Menu is next. As much locally sourced as possible. Biggest local challenge is anything bread or tortilla related. I bought the most horrible burger buns last year made by a local baker. Dense, too tall, dry, awful buns. missed my checkin yesterday due to these fellas. They are at the processor now. launched deposits for fall lambs yesterday and already sold 2. 8 to go. She was hanging out in the sun contentedly chewing her cud this morning, even more enormous. 2 other EWES however decided today was the day so we are welcoming 3 additional lambs to our winter pasture.
