Some of the same women who want Trump in jail for inflating the price of a condo want Lyndsay Clancy to go free. The Age of Clowns is over. The Time of the Witch has come.

From a Rothbardian, Austrian perspective. Rothbard explicitly called Van Buren probably the best American president. Created the Independent Treasury, separating the federal government from the banking system and refused to bail out or intervene in the economy during the Panic of 1837. Hard money advocated, opposed a new national bank, and continued much of the Jacksonian program. A quick dirty summary of my thoughts on this: Credit expansion gives the appearance of a deeper capital structure than reality, which leads to overspecialization. That’s how you can create our current, paradoxical situation: high unemployment (especially when you include labor force participation) with high job openings. What’s finally being exposed as both the long term debt cycle and cycle of empire turn, is structural rot and malinvestment that took place over decades as a result of artificial credit expansion. Grand jury nullification is great. Trial jury nullification is even better. image
Some heads will roll to scare the rest, but they can’t prosecute us all. There will be no public support to go after regular guys who didn’t pay cap gains on Bitcoin that they used to buy groceries and gasoline. C suite and flashy people though, watch out the guillotine mob will come for you. They can’t even win a war against drugs, you think they can win a war against math?
Duration continually moving to the short end feels like the beginning of the end. Where does it stop? Okay I moved from 30yrs to 10yrs because the duration was too risky and real return too low. Ok now from 10yrs to 1yr. To…weekly? Daily? Feels like a typical hyperinflation. Loss of faith in the currency and by extension its bonds, which drives up rates, which causes them to print more to suppress rates, which further erodes faith… Almost like a diabetic or drug addict that needs increasingly more frequent hits until…some critical sub-system fails, thereby ending the entire system.

Luke Gromen: “China will use roads, rail, and airplanes for gold-backed yuan settlement.” Another smart guy who has at least one totally retarded belief. Just like Bob Murphy who’s all in on tokenization, so much so that he works for a tokenization scam company, Infineo! image
The bond market is just Bitconnect with extra steps. And aircraft carriers. Goodnight.
