These will make for good short opportunities in a couple years.

A huge regret is not knowing enough at the time to run a URSF for Taproot. It would’ve failed because devs want novelty and to feel like they’re “doing something”, influencers want in with the devs, and plebs trust the influencers, but at least my conscience would be clean.
Even today, 5 years later, there’s still no market demand or any on the horizon for taproot’s features, other than spam. If you supported it, I hope you own up to your mistake.
DATUM fixes this.
A couple years from now, as blockspace is increasingly used for stablecoins, there will be another UASF to curtail them, but it will fail. Miners will reject it. Why would they kill their fee revenue?
Strategy Bank and all the same influencers will continue to gaslight you. They’ll tell you that stabelcoins on Bitcoin are good because it pays the miners, that they’re valid transactions anyway (thanks Taproot and Lightning Labs), and if you try to stop them then you’re censoring…after they read the ad for their Bitcoin yield product.
They’ll tell you it’s not a problem, and even if it was, it doesn’t matter because eventually, Bitcoin tx fees will price out the stablecoin fees.
Then there will be another policy or implementation change that further decreases Bitcoin’s moneyness. And another. Then another failed UASF. More incremental changes.
Until one day, demurrage or tail emissions are proposed, and there’s nobody left to stop it because all the people who cared about Bitcoin as money have been gaslit and ostracized out of the project.
The people want slop, yield, scams, and trusted third parties, so that’s what they’ll get.
From 4 years ago, back when Shinobi maybe still had some soul left. Imagine stablecoins on Bitcoin grow, but then node runners decide to soft fork them out. Which side do you think the miners will take?
Sweet dreams.

Examining The Incentives Of Stablecoins On Bitcoin
The incentive impacts that stablecoins have on Ethereum could equally arise in Bitcoin if enough value is brought into the equation.
Federal Reserve stablecoins are valid transactions bro. What are you gonna do about it?
The proportion of marxist subversionists keeps increasing as they drive and drown out the sane. Same thing happened to Reddit. Only thing is, Bitcoin is the last bastion, there’s nowhere else to go.
Have fun playing with your Bitcoin stablecoins and tokenized securities.
The FIC has carte blanche to turn your hard drive into storage for stablecoins and securities. You can thank Taproot shills and the rest of the influencers who will cheer it on when it comes.

GM. If you’re ever feeling down, watch this. Keith Knight, the best WW2 libertarian historian, trouncing Jim Holland, a military industrial complex propagandist. Keith blindsides him from the jump with his opening statement, then continues to overwhelm Jim as it goes on. People like Keith give me hope. Enjoy.

Remember last year when, for a hot second, we were concerned about people “remote viewing” our keys?
Priorities.
Just like how I got the power only setup for ColdCard because of theoretically malicious cables. Bro 😑
Is LN functioning on Aqua wallet? Swaps from BTC - LBTC?
Lad already has that 20+ years of experience.

Pending some (positive) fundamental breakthrough in computer science, we already know that a significant percent of the population will have to use some degree of custodian, but that isn’t a death sentence. All we need is some threshold percent of Bitcoin being used as both SoV and MoE, such that it initiates a doom loop for the State’s monopoly over money production and taxation. I think we’re still on track for that outcome.
GM. Have you ever met a *happily* married woman who is in favor of mass migration?

Where were the ossificationists during Taproot activation?
Oh, so you just-so-happen to *now* believe in ossification. Riiiiiight.
For any GOT fans
