Imagine caring about some corporate fiction, that calls themselves government, declaring #Bitcoin to fit a certain box. Bitcoin is just code like an email. Using Bitcoin as money is a big usecase, but it will have other usecases as well. It's still early days. πŸ˜‰

Here's something interesting: As today, through out history, the rulers wrote the history as it suited them. It's propaganda, not objective history. Here's an example from the Roman era around 2000 years ago: Galilee: - Fishing for men at the Sea of Galilee. - It's easier to say: "get up and walk" than "your sins are forgiven". - "Keep holy the Sabbath by restoring the 'right hand'". - Cast out the supporters of the Son of Man. - John possessed by a demon. - The legion of demons. - Demons infect another group. - The herd ran violently. - The herd drowned. - Binding and loosening. Etc etc. Now, You're thinking that these are the words of #Jesus ? Wrong, these were the words of Roman emperor Titus Flavious dictated to be written down as the new religion. πŸ˜‰

Sometimes it is really interesting to understand where certain words come from. He's an example: In the old Phoenician Canaanites religion (which Judaism is derived from), the people worshipped Saturn as their God. In their language they called God: 'El'. Anyone that promoted the worship of El was called an 'El-der'. And someone that was an Elder, he became 'El-ected'. That's why we have 'El-ections'. Now that an Elder got Elected, that person has become one of the 'El-ites'. So that person moved up like an 'El-evator'. πŸ˜‰

Using #Amethyst is getting more difficult by the day. The newest feature: if You want to attach a picture to a post, now You have to go to Nostr.build , upload it there and copy paste that link in the Amethyst app. Previously, it worked straight within the app without Nostr.build. πŸ™ƒ

So that was #Bitcoin Miami 2023. There were some good talks, but man a lot of political campaigning. Speakers reactive to legacy media narratives. I've seen way better bitcoin conferences in the past. 😏

That was the next day of the #Bitcoin Miami conference: My impression: A really well written speech by Kennedy, Jack Mallers awesome as always. An Udi clown on stage, a gender confused live chat box with a certain speaker and some interesting viewpoints expressed by others (some boring ones too). πŸ˜„

So I've been listening a bit to day 1 of the Miami #Bitcoin conference. My impression is that there are a lot of shitcoiners on stage as they keep mentioning "the crypto space" and even "web3". Another thing that is mentioned a lot is that how they all want more US regulations and they seem to think that this will create more opportunities. Clearly a Statist stance. Regulations aren't creating opportunities, innovation does! I think that Bitcoin Magazine sold out all this speaking time on day 1 to any company that was willing to pay for it. Too bad. Hopefully day 2 and 3 will be more interesting. Some great guests will be speaking on those days.

Yes, You can bet that the thought of mass adoption of #Bitcoin will hunt the central banksters at night! 😁
