A few thoughts I have. First a question; why is it impossible to write an article like this with primal unless you pay 70 usd a month. Then second: No matter how much I dislike algorithms, they are valuable. With AI it should be possible to vibe code my own algorithm and copy paste it into a Nostr client like primal. Make a template algo with documentation, then let users define what they want to see in an algorithmic feed and how. Is this possible? Then third: We need a bridge. If I post on Nostr, I want to have a tool that distributes my posts and articles to X, Substack, LinkedIn, Telegram. This way, I post here first, not even needing to open the others. Then fourth: Nostr ideally needs some kind of skin in the game for commenting to prevent AI slop and bots. Probably the best is to replace the like button or make the like button cost a micro transcation, commenting should cost a micro transaction too, etc. ?! OR "free" comments are hidden, only "paid" comments are visible by default ?! I don't know. Perhaps there is a way to also track the time someone types a comment, if it is copy pasted or instant then it is flagged. / or the other way around if a comment is truly human written / typed in a proper time then it is flagged as authentic or human. Then fifth, Nostr needs an app like Microsoft Authenticator or Authy that allows me to centrally manage my private keys and login by scanning and confirming with a 2fa. I'm basically unemployable (not due to skills but principles) and at the same time I reject the entire mimetic entrepreneurship theatre (performative mimetic rivalry in startups, PE, VC, finance). We talked a lot about how social algorithms are designed to make addicted. But when are we having the honest conversation that AI is optimized for engagement and satisfaction? When a user asks AI, it will provide a helpful and satisfying answer. EVEN IF the helpful response should be: "you should do the work or make the decision yourself". Today's generative AI chats are apparently designed to offload cognitive load, not to build cognitive capacity. This makes the entire relationship with AI addictive and thereby toxic.

So, Nostr has AI bots? Sucks...

I always thought that the world is big. That there are many countries to choose from if you ask yourself “Where to live?” The truth is: the world is actually very small. When you have certain criteria, the # of countries that qualify collapses from hundreds to only a handful of options. For example: if you believe in home-schooling, no legally required childhood vaccination, and you do like sunshine, only 7 countries will match this specific criteria. Of these, some are shitholes, which leaves you with 5 options. If you don’t want to live completely detached from society (in the jungle or on a remote island) then you have 3 options left. If you want to own property, there are 2 left: Portugal and Panama. If you don’t like the EU, Panama is the only option with its own downsides – or perhaps the best option is to get a medical exemption to make the USA your perhaps best option. Have you ever defined what principles are truly important to you – and then matched where in the world these criteria are fulfilled? You will be surprised.
