Just got rid of my self-hosted git server. Don't really need it, just have bare repos on my homeserver that I ssh push/pull from now.

NotebookLM is a cool product but requires you to have a Gemini subscription and use its interface to query your document base.
Currently working on a document system that will integrate with ChatGPT or Claude so you can talk about your documents directly within those systems
GM,
Just over a week before I turn 31. 30 hasn’t turned out like I’d hoped but I also had to remind myself of what I’ve done already.
Married, 3 kids, own a house, ahead in my career.
I hoped that I would go self employed this last year and work on my own terms.
Feel far from that yet but hope 31 is the year it happens.
The key is discipline, something I lack a lot of.

GM, spinach and cheese frittata for breakfast today.
Meant to be church but kids and wife are ill.
Have a good day all

I foresee a future where a nation state that holds a substantial amount of Bitcoin can effectively avoid being invaded by threat of destroying their private keys

What makes Nostr a builder’s paradise is that there is no barrier to entry.
No need to register to get access to an API.
No card details to put in to be charged for credits.
You just build stuff and it works.
If Libertarian City States are too succeed they need to be at the forefront of technological advances.
NVIDIA monopolising the AI chip space is a really bad deal at the moment. When it becomes easier to more widely produce chips that will be a huge economic opportunity.
Anthropic have definitely lobotomised Claude this week
Wish I was in Bedford this week 🥲
GM, heading to the office today, nice to get out one or two days of week for a change of scenery.
Time for some #coffeechain and then the school run.
What’s everyone’s plans for today?
It’s baffling that people can work for years and still be utterly incompetent
With our modern capacity to do so much our greatest enemy is over-optimisation.
I see that a lot in the productivity space with “second brains” and “personal knowledge management” when it’s really just a load of crap.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made, our brains and bodies are much more capable than we realise.
GM, the sun is shining, the potatoes are getting planted today. It’s a good day!
