The most important thing I’ve learnt this year is to stop and analyse your thoughts before believing them. 9/10 if I’m anxious about something it’s because I’m blinding believing intrusive thoughts/fears. When I stop and TELL myself “it’s just a thought you don’t need to engage it” I think clearer much quicker. In the space of the last 5 years I’ve: - Gotten married - Bought a house - Had two kids - Risen the career ladder quickly All of these things happening has taught me I’m no where near as mature as I thought I was. It put me in a very difficult place mentally the past couple of years but bit by bit I’m getting to the light at the end of the tunnel. Things aren’t easier but I’m learning to deal with them better. I hope 2024 you all find the light at the end of your tunnels! #plebchain #mentalhealth

Ad Astra, per aspera

Having some ADHD tendencies makes it difficult focusing my energy on productive, helpful things. My view of the world has definitely been refined recently and is helping give me that clarity I want/need. I want my work (not necessarily my job) to focus on some common trends: 1. Empowering communities to grow together using technology as a tool (think #nostr, decentralised tech, etc) 2. Empowering #solarpunk & #permaculture adoption 3. Bitcoin not just as wealth accumulation but a societal initiative that empowers those that fiat has left behind 4. Anything I do needs to be #opensource If you’re working on something and want a helping hand in the above let me know. I am a competent Python programmer but also have experience with JS/TS, Go, AWS and do Machine Learning & MLOps as a job.
