As business owners I think we overcomplicate this whole “get paid in Bitcoin” thing. It’s just not that difficult to take the fiat we earn and convert it to BTC. Sure straight BTC for product/services is easier…unless you need to pay bills in fiat… But my point being is: since we are still early, reduce the friction and just continue to stack sats anyway you can. Worry about being a maxi later. Or don’t…all or nothing thinking is a major trap! View quoted note →

Good Morning Nostriches! She wasn’t happy…but now she is. It’s amazing to me how sunlight is a cure for a lot of ailments. In fact just yesterday my wife said to me, “when we went to the springs [the day before] that was the most sun I got in probably months…I feel so much better today.” You see, not only does the sun heal but THE Son heals. But if that is the case, then why do so many suffer? Becasue ultimately man sinned. Man followed in the footsteps of the gods (elohim, little “e” - the divine council). But praise God (Elohim, big “E” - the one true God of gods) He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the propiciation for our sins. Amen and thank you Jesus! God bless and have a great day y’all. P.S. Whoahzers that pepperchini was SPICEY! I love flavorful hot/spicey food. I’ve never had a pepperchini that was THAT spicey… It must have been cross bread with something else ‘cause my mouth is still on fire. Honestly only thing that has made my mouth sting this this was a ghost pepper… So someone on that farm got the wrong seed or a bee didn’t follow directions! 🐝
Good Morning Nostriches! (re)Discovered a few things yesterday. 1. turning off the tech; having the son (voluntarily) turn over his phone did wonders for him and us as his parents yesterday 2. taking a family day was: A. much needed B. we have to get back into diligently scheduling those (we've been all going in different directions for a few months and it has taken its toll on us) 3. When did sub sandwiches from a chain start costing $18? And it's not like I was at Katz's getting a world famous Pastrami...no we are talking Jersey Mikes...nothing special... SO...we asked our son...look at the price...do you really want to pay that much or do you want to just get all the fixin's at the store and make subs at home... "let's go" he promptly said as he hustled out the door. Over the last 1.5-2 years we've been intentional about eating out less. (We used to eat out practically every day in some form or fashion). Not only has it helped us be better stewards of the finances God has entrusted to us; practically eliminating eating out over time as helped us recognize how much less expensive it is to grow or buy the fixin's ourselves. I haven't quite convinced the misses to move from gardening to animal husbandry...but I'm actively looking for local relationships with those whom already do. In the meantime I'll just buy direct from them. Ok y'all... Need to start the morning routine and the day. Not sure entirely what it entails but I'm sure it has something to do with leadership = relationships 😁 Cheers and God bless your day! P.S. I have to agree here! A few years ago I got into a slump. It was part burnout part taking care of my wife. But I let myself get into a consumption instead of creating MO. Thankfully I’ve fixed that now. But yea…just putting in the work (aka taking action) does wonders! View quoted note →
Welp...Good Morning has become GA...arguably Good Evening! It's been a full day. I'm getting things completed, but a couple of big items still remain. I want to meal prep with my son, have a call with the grand-parentals in a couple hours, and would love to review some homeschooling stuff for my son. Early this morning I did sit down for devotions. Recently I've been reading through the Psalms...one-ish a day or one every few days...I've never actually read the entire book of Psalms. Some people write it off as poetry. But when you actually dig into it, and not even dig deep, there is obvious prophetic scripture within Psalms. One thing that jumped out at me today was Psalms 22:27-29 "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before You, for kingship belongs to the LORD; He rules over the nations. All who prosper on earth will eat and bow down; all those who go down to the dust will kneel before Him — even the one who cannot preserve his life." Now the "the one who cannot preserve his life" is what had me digging. Immediately I went to the cross references to try and figure out who that is... When you look at the cross references, in particular Phillipians 2:10 scripture says everyone regardless of location (in heaven, on earth, or hell “under the earth”) will bow and praise Him as King. This is interesting to me as I recall (was taught?) people will suffer in Hell in torment…and I’m sure this is still the case (I’d have to research it more) but here we see plainly that ALL... everyone will bow before Him [Christ, the King of Kings]. So...even those who cannot preserve their life, those in Hell...will also "remember and turn to the LORD." Man God is soooo good and His Word is truly alive. Thank you Holy Spirit for revealing this to me. #GM #GA #GE #Christ #God #Christian #Biblestr #Bible #PV Pura Vida P.S. "...it’s amazing how much time you have to read when you turn off the TV." - Wild Goose Chase by Mark Batterson Wish I was better at this LOL. In this season where sitting with a book has become harder. Not that my time is spent watching "tv"...merely, that which I'm working on requires focused depth. Things like investing in my son...the ROImage-bearer of that time will be multiples more than the time spent reading a book (and certainly watching). Create more than your Consume! This is a good life MO. image
