They want to control all of your computing and access to the internet. This is horrendous. Colorado Senate Bill Would Require Apple and Google to Embed ID Checks in Operating Systems ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colorado’s latest attempt to regulate minors’ online access differs from its predecessors. Senate Bill 26-051 doesn’t target adult websites directly. Instead, it targets the operating system sitting on your phone. The bill, currently before the Senate Committee on Business, Labor, and Technology with a hearing scheduled for February 24, would require operating system providers to collect your date of birth when you create an account.

Trump takes blatantly illegal action again. He really things he is a King. Trump announces new 10% global tariff, accuses Supreme Court of being “unpatriotic and disloyal” On Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, President Donald Trump announced at a White House briefing he will impose a 10% global tariff after the Supreme Court ruling. The Supreme Court's Friday ruling found that the IEEPA does not authorize tariffs in peacetime and stated, `The Framers did not vest any part of the taxing power in the Executive Branch` — Chief Justice John Roberts. Under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, the administration said it will impose tariffs limited to 150 days, with the executive order to be signed later today by U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. Retailers and companies have already sought refunds in lower courts while small businesses celebrated, with the National Retail Federation calling it `much needed certainty` and a $3 trillion estimate impacts the next decade. Absent congressional action, the decision emphasizes that the Trump administration's tariffs would lapse after 150 days unless Congress votes to extend them, prompting international calls for clarity.
