Lol there’s probably already somebody who figured out how to run Doom on the Vision Pro.

Now I’m imagining all sorts of new 3D interfaces with code and programming in general. How do you make an incredible and 3D terminal?

Count me as excited for the Vision Pro. This’ll be a programmers wet dream with infinite massive monitors and 3D interaction with code. It’s crazy to think that this 1st gen will probably look horrible and outdated in a few years. The wonderful thing about the free market is that if you aren’t comfortable with it than you don’t have to buy it.

With Apple Vision Pro we all get to look like Daft Punk.

The new Macs seem to be Apple screaming MMMMOOOOOOOORRRREEEE!!!! More power, more chip, more screen, just more.

Nostr constantly reminds me how difficult it is to share thoughts clearly and concisely with others.

Any large, complex, and changing system should have some sort of version control, especially when there are multiple people working on it. It’s insane that there can be massive changes to a system and I have absolutely no idea that they’ve happened, the scope of the changes, when they were made, and why.

Parents, protect your kids from Rust. It may start out innocently. Maybe they just want to understand systems programming, but soon they’ll talk about nothing else but ownership and memory. Eventually you’ll hear them say the dreaded phrase “Rewrite it in Rust!” By that point they’re too far gone. You kids are lost to you. Not even rehab or forcing them to use a simple and dynamic language will stop them from writing the simplest of scripts in Rust.
