So @The Daniel 🖖 wanted to know more about what i do @LN Capital so i thought i’d write a quick note about it!
Torq is an enterprise Lightning node management system. It’s built for companies running multiple nodes across different implementations (LND, CLN, LDK, Eclair…etc). The primary goal is to create a professional system that is enterprise-grade and ready to help Lightning companies scale to the masses.
So imagine you’re a new Lightning company. You accept payments, maybe manage funds on behalf of your customers by opening channels to them or splicing in extra liquidity when they need it. Or maybe you’re an exchange that supports lightning, and you need to be able to service withdrawals and deposits.
Typically these types of Lightning-enabled enterprises have at least two nodes for redundancy reasons. If a node goes offline, they don’t want that to take down their whole operation. They may have thousands of channels and millions of payments flowing through those channels.
What these companies (and large node operators in general) come to realize is that managing multiple industrial sized nodes is quite a task.
You end up needing to:
-capture data
-analyze activity
-automate actions (like closing/opening channels)
-define access controls (a CFO and an entry-level analyst each need different permissions)
-monitor for downtime
-payment debugging
-reporting
-accounting
-compliance
-account management
-protocol upgrades
+ more
It ends up becoming a pretty huge headache for Lightning companies.
There are a few open source tools out there that work great on a small scale. But when you’re managing 1000+ channels and multiple nodes across different implementations, those tools break down. That’s where Torq comes in.
Torq let’s you manage 10+ nodes across LND or CLN (LDK, Eclair coming soon), and 10,000+ channels without breaking a sweat. I’m talking instant data load times, scheduled channel opens/closes, automatic fee adjustments, slack, discord, telegram notifications, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff.
We have a free version for nodes with less than 25 channels and $30k capacity. Check out our website to learn more!
Rant over 😎

Manage large lightning operations with ease.
i just be zapping mfers like a dollar here 5k sats there
i just stay zappin bruh
i drew this stellated octahedron last week!
the octahedron is a platonic solid, meaning each of its faces are the same exact shape. an octahedron is a polyhedron with 8 triangles as faces. it is traditionally associated with the air element.
this is a stellated octahedron because it’s a combination of 6 octahedrons. you can draw this with just a compass and a straight edge, but i like to add color and depth as well, it gives it another element.
i made a high-quality scan of this one so that i can potentially sell some! so if ur interested, shoot me a dm😂 can do any size print!
