A serious question to those who really want that shiny new feature added to Bitcoin core. Who think BTC is a living organism and have to be changed... Would you innovate your own genome? Sure the science is already there, you can add or remove some features. This can be so much fun! Add more iron to your blood and cells so you can hold your breath for 10 minutes! Increase your retina's rod cells number so you can better see at night! This is fun until it's not and you fuck up some systems you weren't thinking about which are intertwined with the things you messed with in ways you didn'tthink was possible. Now your immune system is broken or who knows what. And you die. The point is, dont mess with a working system unless absolutely have to. Those who say that all the living organisms mutate to aquire new features always forget at what cost. 99,999% of mutations are crippling to the organism or outright lethal. Nature deals with this having huge population, where risk of death of a single organism is outweighed by possible benifits for the whole population. WE DO NOT HAVE a population of BTCs to take unnecessary risks. There's only one, so when it dies it's game over. Statistics look great, but when you have only one shot to go wrong(example with your own genome) you'd better be careful what you mess with. OSSIFY BITCOIN. Unless it's an existentially important thing you're looking to mess with. For example quantum resistant hashing when it becomes a problem OSSIFY BITCOIN!

What if, by a special seret decree the us BTC ETFs are not actually buying any corn? They're just selling paper, basically venting a part of demend into void, keeping its price down?
