Did you know that FB used to have an API for third party apps? Until they got nailed for the Cambridge Analytica fiasco, anybody could build any data harvesting app on the platform … for a fee of course.
Now all we have is Meta owned and operated apps leveraging the FB network … like messages, market, places, ect. Every social app NOT owned by Meta is missing out on access to a shared user base … and you BET they will be building “in house” apps for home sharing, car sharing, local ratings and reviews and ALL of it.
THIS is why every social app needs Nostr.
