“The Nostr way” will NOT deliver another billion user app for the masses. The simple fact of Nostr’s sovereignty respecting architecture (allowing users to choose their own apps and their own storage) establishes an environment where “every app on the network benefits by other apps being on the network”. - user data “on the network” is always free to harvest forever by any app. - apps avoid liability for collecting user data, when offloaded “to the network”. - apps are free to fully or partially integrate with Nostr in any manner and on their own schedule. Because of this, every app on the network benefits by offloading more and different data for other apps on the network to make use of. “The Nostr way” preserves app independence … by incentivizing the free exchange of user data. The network effect will come as more independent apps choose to build on Nostr … and the mega apps get pushed off the playground. Our “killer app” is sovereignty. Network dominance is so … legacy model. View quoted note →

Are there any apps that have “transitioned” to integrate with Nostr .. or is it only greenfield? #asknostr
