A Libertarian lover of our Constitution and a citizen looking for ways out of the monitored society. Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged is a must read.. Everything is about the money. What is the root of money?

Funny how nice an afternoon can be when you're doing something that doesn't involve politics & current events...

What happened to Jumble's page? The right third used to be the page of the folks you might click on from your landing page. No more. It's blank.. Anyone else notice this. Maybe it's me? A setting somewhere?

So how do we fund the government? Two main ways right? We can generate cash from taxes, or get it from External sources. So politicians and some bankers convened on Jekyl Island and figured out we can borrow tons and pay for it with those taxes. The citizens have been the collateral for these loans for a LONG time! Since 1913 maybe? Do you realize that every paper dollar in circulation is borrowed from the FED? Every one. They're Federal Reserve Notes. Notes are debt that needs to be paid off. WE BORROW EVERY PENNY WE USE FROM A PRIVATE CORPORATION!!! And we pay taxes to the friendly IRS. The interest to the bank!! Damn, pretty good gig if you can get it! So now, we're beginning to see the competing economic system being put in place.. You know we didn't borrow to bail out Argentina. We didn't borrow money to keep the WIC Program up and running. And now, we may see some of this External Money come to us in a check. And none is inflation. All of that money's already out there in the economy!! It ain't new borrowed money created out of thin air. No inflation!! This is good.

You think any of the Welfare State programs would be in existence if we didn't have The FED? No way. Politicians would have to raise taxes on everyone every time they had a lame brain idea. But with the FED, just create the money out of thin air. The politician has borrowed, and you my friend are the collateral. You're taxed to pay for all that borrowing. Enslaved basically. So when the Democrat demands borrowing $1.5 trillion like now, remember, it's borrowed. Remember you pay more in taxes. And don't forget, inflation causes your buying power of your wages to disappear. And the Democrat complain the rich are getting richer & the poor, poorer because of Trump? If you understood inflation causes everything the rich own to go up in value, you'd know it's the big spending politicians inflated the money supply that causes the problem. Us working stiffs don't have all that property to take advantage of inflation. But we do get to pay more for everything we use because of it. Pretty nice scheme, huh? . I wish people would just understand the corruption of having a private corporation owning every single paper dollar in circulation, and able to print (by pushing a computer button these days) as much as they need at your expense is the root cause of your stress.. Stop voting for Democrats. If you do, I'll ask, how much of that fake money are you living off of? You are a part of the problem. Sad to say, but true.

I think Gold is still an investment to hedge against bad times. Gotta be a little concerned about long bouts of sideways move.. I remember an investment guy on the tube telling viewers he thought gold was breaking out of it's 20 year bear market!! This was years ago, but it proves a point. When inflation isn't an issue any longer & business is good, gold may be that consistent play once again. And that wouldn't be a bad thing. Bitcoin & Gold as the currency for the country.

Well, I've come to realize my take on our country & the economy don't hold all that much importance.. I guess in the grand scheme of things, an individual is less than a spit in the wind. Nostr has taught me that.. I'm zappin' comments I like.. Looks like no one likes anything I say.. Oh well... I ain't stoppin' . I love the spirit of America too much and I hate what has been going on for quite some time. I mean, I voted John Hospers, the first candidate for the Libertarians in 1972. A free country of free people is where we're finally heading, right now. It's taken a while. Trump, the RepubliTarian.. Has a nice ring.
