I have been working on a book that I'm calling The Living Civilization. It is a complete reframing of how our civilization is structured, based on how I see the world. It's very different from the way we are taught, but aligns with a lot of what I see in the Bitcoin communities. I'm getting overwhelmed. I need someone to talk to about this, but very few people that I spend time around are capable of keeping up. So I'm posting here asking for help. I don't know who is following my profile here on Nostr. I don't know your backgrounds, your skills or your opinions. What I do know is that everything we see, everything we are dealing with is part of a pattern. Our entire civilization is built on top of a foundation of debt, and it is killing us. All of us. We are trapped in Plato's cave, staring at the reflections on the wall thinking that this is the real world. Bitcoin was the first candle lit showing the alternative to that. It doesn't shine on the wall, it shines on the path to escape the cave entirely. Debt-based systems pull from the future to build the present. Wealth-based systems build from the present to create the future. We have traveled the path of control to power, but now we must choose collaboration to achieve peace. The Purpose of the Living Civilization is to rebuild our systems on a wealth based foundation, securing our present resources and growing from those resources to reach for the stars. Everyone in politics says "If you give me power, I will give you what you want." How about we stop giving other people power over our decisions, and build what we want without their permission, without their obstacles, and without their limitations.

Somehow, I got over my fear of exposure over the weekend. I'd been hesitating publishing the next chapter of my book, because of a bad experience with a professor who called my ideas stupid. The chapter is not finished, but I can finish it over the next few weeks up to a draft form. The most important thing is to get it out so I can start to get feedback.
