I know #starlink is the best know #satellite #internet provider 📡 🛜🛰️ but in Europe we also have our own providers:

These are the six European alternatives to Elon Musk's Starlink
There are concerns about whether Europe can continue to rely on Starlink. These are the European alternatives.
Right. Here's the deal. I bought myself a new toy, which ultimately is to replace the NAS and mini PC
And now I have a dilemma, what system to put on it. There is an m.2 nvme drive for the system and four HDDs for data. I want to bundle those drives in raidz1 on zfs to have an array and ease of backup, snapshots, etc.
Currently on the mini PC I have proxmox and LXC containers in which I have my stuff, plus one LXC container in which I have a docker for things that are not otherwise distributed. And I've been beating myself up with my thoughts for the past few days because I see these possibilities:
- proxmox (migration is 1:1), supports zfs natively.
- truenas - which means rather migrate to docker, and this is not a preferred way for me.
- unraid - here we have both docker and lxc, but requires buying a license
- Debian + Incus - in one place I have management and support of LXC and OCI containers (compatible with docker) - zfs as a kernel module
- Alpine + LXC + Podman - which is a bit like the above, but not in one tool and again zfs as an add-on
- FreeBSD - native support for zfs, no LXC (because it's not Linux) but there are Jails wiec similar solution (only better than LXC). Well, and there's Podman on FreeBSD so there's an option to run OCI containers for everything that can't be crammed into Jail.
Any other suggestions? Or advantages/disadvantages of any of the solutions mentioned? I need to make up my mind and put up a system 🤣.
