It needs a bit more airflow on the inner basket to make it smokeless, but it burns pretty well. I might cut some slits and taper the top of the outer can also, force more heated air from the side channel into the exhaust 🤔 my deck fire pit needs afterburners 🚀 View quoted note →

This tiny fire made a nice bed of coals for cooking last night. I dug a trench down ~9" at the back end of the fire pit, tapering to the front. Nice for getting a lot of hot coals, then pulling to the front to cook. View quoted note → I think I'll rebuild it sideways so I have two 'burners'
