Heard on Reddit: [deleted] โ€ข 6y ago all food is evil. has all sorts of complicated theological implications about it. eg. strings on a banana be cursed. peel it off. pith of the citrus.. like same thing when you create a meal using both the meat and milk from the animal. mega curse. everything does have a process to deal with it depending on your ancestral religious superstition? how you say that? your souls ancestral ways as instructed by god? else it be poison. same as other sht curses like circumcision of sexual organs according to religion of your people. anyhows, saying all that seeminly jibberish trying to say that the naval orange dosnt fall in that category due to it being a twin or chimera.. as mr upstairs cannot weave his bullshit in it to curse us is saying something innit? "Zara Lemon" (citron) from Bangladesh. Green, wrinkly and highly fragrant. Long oval shape with thick white pith perfect for marmalade!

GM nostr! Any Bengalis in the house??? I'm researching this amazing citron fruit found in a local Asian supermarket, her fragrance is out of this world! The boy at the counter said back home the call it Jara Lebu/Lembu? The sign said Zara Lemon. Lots of confusion online as to the different varieties and which is which, it's clearly not Shatkora. This site has a few for sale but I'm not sure any are the same as what I bought. Mine is green and very wrinkled When I make marmalade from them I want the correct or, failing that, most amusing name Kavey Eats ยป Bangladeshi Shatkora Citrus: Candied Peel, Cordial, Posset & Pectin
