Anyone manage to get custom enum parameters to work with AppIntents and widgets? Whenever I try to pass a value in, it seems it wants a generic “IntentParameter" instead of the actual value, which seems contrary to the WWDC videos just passing values. Am I doing something silly? image
SwiftUI question of the week: if I want to use a Circle sometimes and a Rectangle in other cases, and apply a stroke to either, how do I encompass that generic Shape so the compiler is happy? The following spits out errors about needing generic constraints. image
I don't know why, but "Siri" instead of "Hey Siri" is such a nice quality of life improvement on iOS 17
I wish with MagSafe you could control how fast it charges. My iPhone gets so toasty at night when I’m in no rush to use it until the morning :(
One tricky design thing I've found with medium-sized interactive widgets is choosing button placement. The sides feel better to me, but the asymmetry of that makes me slightly unsure image
Toot Tech Support: I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that I use from time to time, but sometimes I’ll boot it up and the menu bar is completely gone, no windows can have focus, I can only right click, and the keyboard makes the error beeps whenever I type. Anyone know what this could be before I wipe it completely? I tried clearing PRAM/NVRAM
Anyone manage to get custom transitions working with interactive widgets on iOS 17? I know you can use some system ones, but if you want, for instance, a "grow then shrink" animation, I can't figure that out. Custom .transition()? Just .animation() somehow?
If you modularize your app, do you do so with separate frameworks, or with Swift Package Manager? Looking to modularize more and hopefully speed up SwiftUI Previews
