GM๐ŸŒ…โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ Mark 10:46-52 As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a sizable crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind man, the son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging. On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, โ€œJesus, son of David, have pity on me.โ€ And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he kept calling out all the more, โ€œSon of David, have pity on me.โ€ Jesus stopped and said, โ€œCall him.โ€ So they called the blind man, saying to him, โ€œTake courage; get up, Jesus is calling you.โ€ He threw aside his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus. Jesus said to him in reply, โ€œWhat do you want me to do for you?โ€ The blind man replied to him, โ€œMaster, I want to see.โ€ Jesus told him, โ€œGo your way; your faith has saved you.โ€ Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

GM๐ŸŒ…โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ Mark 10:32-45 The disciples were on the way, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went ahead of them. They were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. Taking the Twelve aside again, he began to tell them what was going to happen to him. "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death and hand him over to the Gentiles who will mock him, spit upon him, scourge him, and put him to death, but after three days he will rise." Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus and said to him, "Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you." He replied, "What do you wish me to do for you?" They answered him, "Grant that in your glory we may sit one at your right and the other at your left." Jesus said to them, "You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the chalice that I drink or be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?" They said to him, "We can." Jesus said to them, "The chalice that I drink, you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized; but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give but is for those for whom it has been prepared." When the ten heard this, they became indignant at James and John. Jesus summoned them and said to them, "You know that those who are recognized as rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones make their authority over them felt. But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all. For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

GM๐ŸŒ…โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ Mark 10:28-31 Peter began to say to Jesus, "We have given up everything and followed you." Jesus said, "Amen, I say to you, there is no one who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and for the sake of the Gospel who will not receive a hundred times more now in this present age: houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and eternal life in the age to come. But many that are first will be last, and the last will be first."โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

GM๐ŸŒ…โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ John 19:25-34 Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his motherโ€™s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, โ€œWoman, behold, your son.โ€ Then he said to the disciple, โ€œBehold, your mother.โ€ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, โ€œI thirst.โ€ There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, โ€œIt is finished.โ€ And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit. Now since it was preparation day, in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken and they be taken down. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus. But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs, but one soldier thrust his lance into his side, and immediately Blood and water flowed out.โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

GM๐ŸŒ…โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ John 20:19-23 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be with you." When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ
