Hats of to all Cashu wallet devs! Working on the stateless wallet library Cashu-ts for a while now I didn’t even know how hard the state management can be…

The refactoring of the mint screens is coming along nicely. Can you guess which wallet this is?

Know Your Mint (a term coined by the design wizard @erik) helps us make mint selection easier. When adding a new mint, this wallet displays mints recommended on nostr and combines this data with statistics from the mint auditor using the cashu-kym library.

Here is a sneak peak demo of a project I started during the btc++ 2h hackathon: PeanutPal — a serverless, accountless POS system powered by Cashu and Nostr! PeanutPal is a browser-first Lightning Point of Sale. No sign-ups, no setup. Thanks to Cashu the money is stored in your browser on your device. With Nostr under the hood, any phone can instantly become a remote POS, generating invoices on behalf of the main device, sending the sats over. And it works even if the main device is offline. Please note that PeanutPal is nowhere near production ready. Please don’t use it yet, or you will risk losing funds!!

Without this event I would not be working in Bitcoin today. Let’s make sure Octobers btc++ is just as impactful for others 🔥💜 View quoted note →

Just wrapped up the Cashu-TS dev call and as always I’m feeling seriously bullish on Cashu. There’s plenty to be excited about, but the standout is the devs. They’re absolutely crushing it. Grateful to be building alongside such an incredible crew 🔥

I was allowed to witness @JeffG and a couple others explain MLS on nostr with lots of hand gestures and it has been one of the best things I have seen in a while. 🤙🤘🫴🤏 Make sure to checkout what they are building with WhiteNoise View quoted note →
