The UN report, entitled "Anatomy of a Genocide", says Israel has violated three of the five acts listed in the UN Genocide Convention. Israel is on the UN's “black list” of countries and organizations that harm children. On the so-called “list of shame”, Israel is listed alongside “terrorist groups” such as Daesh/ISIS, al-Qaida and Boko Haram. The UN’s international court of justice (ICJ) has ordered Israel to end its occupation of the Palestinian territories “as rapidly as possible”.

A Columbia University graduate has been denied entry into the United States and deported following 12 hours of detention at the Los Angeles International Airport. Australian writer Alistair Kitchen says agents questioned him about his views on Israel and Palestine and downloaded the contents of his phone. “They were waiting for me when I got off the plane. Germany will decide whether or not to approve new weapons shipments to Israel based on an assessment of the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul says in an interview with the Sueddeutsche Zeitung. The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) politician said Israel must be able to defend itself “even with German weapons systems” against external threats, such as those from Yemen, Hezbollah, or Iran.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, was subjected to "severe torture and mistreatment" by Israeli occupation forces following his detention from the hospital in late December, his family said. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly told Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in a call on Saturday that the UN’s peacekeeping forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) must not be targeted.
