மொழியாக்கத்தில் உயிர், உணர்வு இருக்க வேணும். வெறுமே எந்திரத்தனமான மொழிபெயர்ப்பு பயனற்றது. சூழலுக்கேற்ற மொழிபெயர்ப்பு தேவை. சொல்லுக்குச் சொல் மொழிபெயர்ப்பு தேவை இல்லை. இடம், பொருளுக்கு ஏற்ப மொழியாக்கம் அமைய வேணும்.
அழகியதொரு எடுத்துக்காட்டு "சுசீலா" அம்மாவின் மொழிபெயர்ப்புகள்.
உலக இலக்கியத்தின் சிறுதுளிகளை தமிழில் மொழியாக்கம் செய்துள்ளார் "எம்.ஏ.சுசீலா" அவர்கள். அதை வாசித்து வருகிறேன்.
மொழியாக்கத்தில் ஆர்வம் உள்ளோர் தவறாமல் வாசிக்க வேண்டிய படைப்புகள் அவருடையது.

Reading book translated by “M.A.Suseela” Ma’am. Such a wonderful book & translated work it is.
She’s a best example on how to translate words from English to Tamil. Not just some machine translation or transliterations.
Translations shud hav soul. It shud be context based.

Windows default Tamil fonts r the worst looking. I hate it the most. Apple devices’ default Tamil font is so beautiful. I wish ppl use it more frequently. I shud find tat font names

I’m quite sad too tat the young gen, especially Tamil techies aren’t aware of wats happening in the Tamil-tech-lingo world. So many experts have put in their efforts to build the Tamil (tech) vocabulary. We shud respect their efforts by using those coined (translated) words
A language should cope up with the latest tech. Tamil (South Indian language) is one such dynamic language which has creatively updated herself with latest technologies. Many experts have been putting in great efforts to coin easy, creative terms equivalent to tech terms (English)
I hope ppl will take it in a sportive way. Let’s hope. I’ll try to add the changes & raise a PR.
Checked few Tamil translations of Amethyst & felt like it’d need corrections. But, I’m afraid shud I make it or not. The correct term is changed to a wrong one. Then why do we even need a translation. Just the Tamil fonts?? So sad to see this.
I’m an amateur photographer. Just gave it an attempt based on tips from online photography tutorials. I shud say I liked it.
Lot to improvise. But felt like it’s a start 😅

Oh yes. Typo error it’s “Bashevis Singer”.
My bad. I was used to my native language pronunciation of Singers name.
I feel like I shud read more to grasp the depth of these literary stalwarts. Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Singer.
This guy “Issac Beshavis Singer” is a great writer. Wit just a short story he’s making a great impact.
