So, I am about to DCA some more Bitcoin.

๐ตDie Gedanken sind frei.
DAX is on a tear because the companies all make real things.
Just bought my Bitcoin Prague tickets for 6-8 May 2027. :bitcoin:
Bavaria is so beautiful that it doesn't even look like a real place.
I have been so homesick, fr.
Looks like they're going to just try to play this off and continue as is. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

It's beautiful, from up here. So quiet and peaceful, from thousands of miles above. Gazing out my window.
โ๏ธ Imwald Android airplane mode engaged.
I have used the flight to finally check and respond to everything my client loaded into the internal database, while I was in WiFi. (Outside of WiFi I use the low data mode, rather than full relays.) It is both an abundance of interaction, as well as an interaction that eventually ends. At some point, the locally-stored data has an end.
Thousands of notes. It moves quickly by. Every item in my feed, every embedded or quoted note, and entire threads. I can filter "To Me" or "From Follows". Feels so dynamic, but I am only publishing to my local relays and my cache database.
When I turn off airplane mode, after landing, it will immediately send everything I published to the cache DB, to the requested relays. And it will pull in newer events from all relays, including my local aggregator, Tor and I2P relays. And then I can put it back into low-data mode.
It is a bit counterintuitive, but this asynchronous design might be how we finally make alternative channels smooth to interact with. It might be how we consume hardly any mobile Internet or battery life, but stay widely-distributed and highly performant.
**Queue all the things.**
I thought my Bitcoin would quickly grow and eclipse my gold, but it went the other way around.
Kind of a let-down, but I have a new appreciation for not needing to lie awake at night, fretting about where my gold is.

We should pray for everyone who has suffered devastating financial losses or severe emotional stress caused by this crises. Our hearts are truly filled with sympathy with and concern for them.
We should pray for each other, as hodlers, who are watching the purchasing power of our savings be negatively impacted by the chaos and bad press.
We should pray for the wider Bitcoin wallet industry, as they are going to be collectively tainted by these errors they hold no responsibility for, and will be left to repair the industry's reputation.
We should pray for @N and the employees of Cold Card. That they and their families remain physically safe, that they resolve the crisis in a judicious and swift manner, and that they make a sincere attempt at restitution for the widespread suffering their negligence and competence created.
Amen. ๐
