I do not recognize anyone’s right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy. Nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their need. My public bookmarks are like a pseudo blog, check them out to see what I have to say. I don't post every day, think of me as a high SNR oracle, when I show up in your feed it's probably going to be interesting. I do private contracting for personal server setups and automation scripts. Feel free to contact and inquire about that if you need something put together. xmpp and email: mister_monster@disroot.org Join our concord group in armada: https://armada.buzz/invite/naddr1qvzqqqyzz5pzpfzhckw68k830z75jtm29pxumnwy80gpgvcmsjau2thu04435r3mqqqqwjx8vn#BAEOQdTb8uGG1PuT9i3UPgrF pgp fingerprint: 16b1f268d3a01afdf4194b87868bc00fa8740dac 09F911029D74E35BD84156C5635688C0
@Alex Gleason Being a vegan doesnt excuse you of this lmao These people are so full of shit. I'm glad I live in a time where the only people buying their bullshit are themselves. They're still bleeding from the eyeballs mad at the world while the rest of us have moved on and continued to live life. Why is it these people only argue in half truths and lies of omission?
Omarchy has a *pre set list of different default apps you can install.* You *can* install other apps, but they can't be made default in omarchy. Like qutebrowser? Good luck. xdg-desktop already exists. Whos fucking idea was this?
I'm PoWing everything. *Everything.* (except chats) That includes reacts. 24 costs me 5 seconds on my mobile device (yes its very underpowered). 20 costs me no noticeable delay. Everyone should attach a PoW for their notes if they want people to be able to see at a glance that they're worth reading.
Did I accidentally unfollow any cool homies? Was unfollowing dead npubs and may have unfollowed before full fetch.
Idea: a nostr feed algorithm that places notes higher the more PoW they have, and falls back to chronological.
Thinking of running omarchy, so I go watch some videos about it. The videos are all talking about themes and testing AI agents. That doesnt tell me jack shit about the actual system and what it gives me as a benefit. How magical are the magical tools? What novel types of integrations really make the experience less stressful? "Plugins", not sure if I'm sold on that either. In my day, OS "plugins" were just called programs. Is there a meaningful difference between them and a window or a rofi script? I also think that the agentic focus, not just using agents to do your work but using agents to maintain and modify the system, and other peoples systems by publishing plugins, is a security disaster waiting to happen. I'm still gonna check it out. I have a hunch though that I'm just going to get some ideas from it and then try to slap together what I like into an arch system myself.
