My son was worried about an upcoming water day because he “didn’t want to change in front of people.” I asked when he had to do that and he said a few times at daycare in the recent past. And that “everyone was changing in the class and everyone was looking at each other and laughing.” This seems……inappropriate. Am I crazy?

Even though I’m a therapist, I feel this exact way about the things my therapist suggests 😂😂 First time I went to therapy I was so defensive and when he suggested I practice mindfulness I thought “yeah go fuck yourself” and now I teach it to my clients 🤭😂
