Is anyone doing milk kefir, water kefir, or kombucha? I'm looking for different strains to broaden my gut bacteria. I'm doing homemade yogurt and kombucha now. I had the idea last night to see if anyone in here knows the history of their grains/strains and if they were bred for different uses or reasons. I was thinking about doing multiple smaller batches of different types to provide some variation for gut health. #asknostr I think I need help with my relays or something. Sometimes I'm on amethyst and I see the same message/notification from June 2nd as the latest message/notification. Then sometimes I see the new ones in the notifications like I expect. Is this a relay issue? Are there relays that work for free or is this an issue that is only fixed by paying? Large brush pile fire from clearing a trail around our property. No burning permits needed if you invite all your neighbors. The embers and ash from the green leaves went super high and covered the neighbors properties. They were cool with it though.i wish I could have used the heat to make charcoal but it was just to much and needed to clear the trail will fill the charcoal drums and put them under the pile for the next brush pile..#greatneighbors #charcoal

#asknostr anyone interested in learning to run a gasoline generator from wood? Trying to decide if it's worth putting together a book and a drop shippable kit that would allow people to take wood and run a small engine with a home made charcoal gasifier.

Biochar going through wood chipper. @Jack Spirko I did it dry and wore a face mask. Here is my set up. Next time is use some 10 ft large diameter cheap PVC or tile and secure it to the end of the chipper outlet. Is then stretch the painter tarp on the ground with something in the middle tenting it up. Then "seal" the outside with sticks or stones to weight down the edge. I did this over a compost pile and now will continue to add over it. A whole 55 gallon drum took less than 10 minutes. It makes it to fine for a large gasifier but maybe a small engine gasifier that is cross draft. #biochar #charcoal #woodgasifier #gasifier #compost #gardening
