Something about this scene reminds me of The Nostr community.
Edgy Raphael fighting the footclan all by himself, while the rest of the team is like "he just needs to blow off some steam" "he likes it"
Something like
Raphael = nostr users & nostr developers
The Foot Clan as centralized platforms, other nostr users and devs
Hot take: Client and signer developers - always assume the worst of the other side, and that they'll kill your project's UX.
When a client/signer pair assume the other side will effectively take care of its responsibilities, you get the an experience that refuses to accept no.
"Will you allow decrypting DMs/Auth on unknown relays?"
"No? Okay."
"....how about now?"
"You didn't answer. Here's a new window, in case you don't see the other one already up"
If you assume the worst, the app becomes gatekeeper for most, if not all decisions before asking the signer. The signer can remember whatever settings pass through and use them for other apps.
"Always sign kind 1"
"Always auth on these relays, never on anything else."
"Always sign json that looks like this, never ones that look like this."
Not having an amp offers an interesting opportunity to share the acoustic dynamics I hear whenever I'm playing. ๐
Maybe I'll record the full cover of this song when it's all repaired ๐๐คซ #guitar #music
