When’s the last time a debate changed anyone’s mind? And why are the people who talk the best usually not the ones actually building things?

Lover of people.
How do you communicate displeasure while still letting people know they’re free to be exactly who they are?
I will be truly free when I can be okay with any outcome in life without losing my sense of agency. It's about radical acceptance of reality, not apathy.
I want to need people, and I want to be needed by people. Living just for myself isn't fulfilling for me.
Populism is fueled by hate, and populist leaders often turn out to be a disaster. With social media as a weapon, if you want to destabilize an enemy country, just pump them full of hate. The rest will take care of itself.
In times of war and crisis, you see the worst of people, but you also witness the best: courage and selfless service that make you want to cry and smile.

Wise words do not change minds if the person is not ready for them. You can't change people; they change themselves when they're ready.
Another freeing thought was realizing that free people don't always act in ways you deem wise or right. This is a reality you must accept, and it minimizes your suffering. Trying to control what people do, think, or say will only make you miserable. Leave it to nature and reality
I've witnessed so much injustice and deceit in my life, and it used to move and frustrate me deeply. Now, I've realised that I can acknowledge it, feel it, and let it go. My life is lighter. I only act within my sphere of control. If I can't control it, I let it go.
I never thought I would find myself vibing to metal, but this one brother introduced me to Sleep Token, and the song 'Chokehold' is 🔥.
Often, if we knew the true difficulty of a task beforehand, we might never begin. Yet, it's this very optimism—bordering on delusion—that fuels so much success, combined with persistence and a bit of luck.
It's not so much that one should not feel; feelings are a way of life. The problem lies in rumination and believing your made-up thoughts. Our minds never say 'I don't know' when it comes to trying to help us cope with our emotions.
Honest criticism about some parts of the world will be lower in the next few years. Especially on social media.
I will know I am free when my only criteria for what to say are: is it true, is it ethical, and is it worth saying. Right now, I have more considerations to make, so I have not yet fully earned my freedom.
Building software for Windows is a true test of the soul😡. The wish is for me to do it at least once without complaining.😅
There's so much BS to bust in the world. Future generations will laugh at some of the beliefs we hold today, as advanced as our world is.
Fears and desires: the most powerful forces in a person's life
The idea of government as a service provider is really appealing to me. Taxation feels like being shaken down by a powerful mafia that is not accountable for how they spend your money. In such a system, the individual is never truly sovereign. The Prospera model is the future.
Dealing with AI for fixing coding bugs highlights the issues with proprietary AI models. I recently had an experience where a model deleted other models from the code, even after I explicitly instructed it not to. These tools should not operate with such an agenda.
