12 years ago today, I received my first sats! 🎉 On Nov 1, 2013, I got my very first Bitcoin from TryBTC, a site that gave away small amounts of BTC to help people learn through a hands-on experience. They wanted to "show the world how to use Bitcoin in under 5 minutes." I received 0.0001 BTC, which was only about 2 cents at the time… and is now worth around $11 (roughly a 550× increase).
