I'm of the opinion that Nostr can "succeed" (whatever that means) even if Bluesky and the Fediverse also succeed. There's still lots to figure out about decentralized networks, and we can learn from each other while we also learn to kick the centralized corporate networks' donkeys.

yosup.app and other web-based nostr clients need to implement some sort of blocking or filtering. The public timelines are overrun with bots and spam ( thanks to people like @f9074000a5865431b037b3b760d10129a53167b50e90e5b116a1aebb14d0099b ). Ideally, the filters should be under users' control, but a simple "don't display posts when an identical post came through within ten minutes" would also help.
