I started reading some of the classic children's literature and I'm frankly being blown away. Winnie, the Pooh is incredible. Peter, Pan is insane! Planning on writing a longer review in the coming weeks
The market value of bitcoins is now more than four times that of ethereum. The idea that currencies will form some kind of power law is quickly proving to be false
The Chisholm Firestorm of 2001 released the same amount of energy as 1,700 Hiroshima bombs. #FireWeather image

I had coffee with my OG bitcoiner friend this morning. He deletes his social media profiles every 2 years and starts again. For him it's not about followers. It's about interacting
I hate to to promote the New York times but their gam image e Connections is my 2nd favorite game, after chess. I play it almost everyday
Just started reading Fire Weather, by John Valiant . I'm enjoying it. But did a double take when he made the claim that Boreal forest trees are *designed* to burn every 20 years. This seems theistic.
Even though I have a pretty decent following on x/twitter, I think I'm going to delight in the anonymity of a fresh account on nostr. We'll see
All right. I'm trying to figure out how to connect my Phoenix lightning wallet with amethyst nostr and be able to send Bitcoin zaps
"Bitcoin as economic energy" -questions you need to ask 1. What do you think of the notion, perhaps popularized by Michael Saylor, that Bitcoin is economic energy? 2. Since mining Bitcoin is so damn competitive, is it fair to assume that the Bitcoin mined with $100 of electricity will always be close to $100? 3. If that's true then can we also say that the "economic energy" mined with 100 KW of energy will always be close to 100 kW? 4. If that's true, and given that there is an immense amount of heat lost in the process of Bitcoin mining does it not seem like Bitcoin mining breaks the law of conservation of energy?
