Listening to this now and it's a good episode so far! Live free or die! Is New Hampshire actually the freest state with the most liberty-loving Americans? They have the most guns per capita, and may be the most polite as well. I could maybe get with the idea of keeping the US federal government (versus scrapping it all together) if it only consisted of the military, and it's sole job would be defense, as Eric Forte states. No offensive wars, no entangling alliances, nor going off to fight monsters abroad, or "making the world safe for democracy," or "nation-building." No black-ops or interfering with other nations who have not attacked US. The 50 states would handle all other internal matters. At the Federal level, you would basically have a night watchman state. I don't know that a president would even be necessary, though certainly the military would have a commander-in-chief, who may not necessarily be a civilian. I could see this appearing to be a military dictatorship, but if the military had no authority internally, unless it was necessary to quell domestic insurrections, then perhaps it might not be so bad. If the federal government collapsed I've always wondered about what happens with the nukes, so perhaps keeping at least the military for national defense might be tolerable. The federal government would basically just be a military alliance of the 50 states. https://fountain.fm/episode/lfL9Vy7cGi5IxEjBT1Ox View quoted note →

"FDIC insurance covers about $11 trillion of deposits, but the institution has assets of only $137 billion. That’s about one cent on the dollar. I’ll be surprised if the FDIC doesn’t go bust and need to be recapitalized by the government. That money—many billions—will likely be created out of thin air by selling Treasury debt to the Fed." –Doug Casey https://internationalman.com/articles/unsound-banking-why-most-of-the-worlds-banks-are-headed-for-collapse/#:~:text=FDIC%20insurance%20covers,to%20the%20Fed. Politics aside, that one man can decide on behalf of over 340 million Americans is absurd, and I'm not talking about Trump. Trump was at least elected, for what that's worth, and was the choice of millions of people to pursue many of the policies he's pursuing. But here we have single individuals, not elected by anyone, but rather selected by partisan politicians, enforcing their political preferences on everyone else.

Why pretend there is a such thing as an independent judiciary when the courts are themselves a part of the government, often judges in their case (meaning the government is a party in a case, and also the judge), and are of course political, appointed by politicians, in a highly politicized process?!

This was a good interview! I listened to it twice. She defines who "They" are, and their plans to run your life, if not make sure that you are killed off while they escape and achieve immortality. It's pretty sci-fi, if you're into that.
