It’s actually insane how much software big companies buy. The incentives create a situation where people are rewarded for bringing new solutions, even if it’s not clear what problems they solve.
Every fiat company is in hyper drive trying to gather as much data as they possibly can, as they believe that is the new “moat”.
The thing I’m pondering - how do I build systems that let families own their data 100% while enjoying the benefits of distributed computing?
