I really feel that gambling is a net negative on society. It creates a kind of brain rot that is hard to understand. It seeps into everything. Everything becomes an opportunity to gamble. It makes people behave differently in order to hit a bet. It takes people from being present with their families. It tears their family apart.

The degeneracy of gambling in our time is getting quite severe. I know people who can’t help but bet on a sports game at least once a week. I gamble 2 or 3 times a year, but it’s usually something I do because friends are. I almost never actively seek it out.
