Does anyone on nostr have a good guide for doing LLM image generation locally? #asknostr
A new group that is catching my ire - man children who buy kids toys and resell them at elevated prices. I recently saw a man at Walmart ask an associate to get the box of hot wheels they just recently received so he could pick through them. The whole time, he’s standing there making comments about how much money he’s going to make. At a local grocery store, grown men are lining up at Pokémon vending machines to scoop up cards immediately. Losers.
Having kids isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s HARD. I struggle with it every single day. But, it’s made me a better person in a trial by fire kind of way. I literally can’t rest on how far I’ve come, because every day demands I grow more. It’s exhausting, but meaningful.
We’re absolutely getting a socialist president in 2028. JD Vance won’t win because he’ll have a similar problem as Kamala. Can’t run on a platform that mirrors Trump because he’s been a complete flop but also can’t criticize him without criticizing himself.
The best use case of AI (the AI we actually have, not what sci-fi said we would have) is surveillance. We’re gonna have to learn how to throw tails like spies. “If you say, like, you now get a free Optimus and it’s just gonna follow you around and stop you from doing crime, but other than that you get to do anything. It’s just gonna stop you from committing crime, that’s really it,” Musk said on stage at the Tesla shareholder meeting on November 6.
The new version of iOS told my wife I went to a location that I had no reason to visit and is an hour away. Problem is, I’ve literally never even been close. So, thanks for getting me in trouble Apple 😫
What is going on with Pokémon cards that is making them such hot commodities? Like obviously, fiat money is the root cause, but who is buying these cards at inflated prices? The kids in my neighborhood are constantly trying to sell them to other kids, including my son. So I have to deal with this constant deal flow and my son spending money on these cards to do nothing with them. These kids aren’t even playing the game! It’s just constant buying and selling.
Every tech company on the planet right now is trying to figure out how to get the big AI companies to feature their products before others. Paid results are coming, and they will contort every single query you make to these LLMs.
I think welfare should be community driven only. Only the people closest to you can tell when you have a real need due to unfortunate circumstances. Only people who see you in day to day life can accurately judge if you’re abusing the good will of others.
