Christian | Husband | Father Professional hacker Lover of freedom tech
Freedom and tyranny are in a constant cat and mouse game. The internet initially created an incredible opportunity for freedom like never before. That’s why the tyrants are now wielding it as a weapon against us. Freedom tech is the second iteration of the internet, this time with code enforced rules that guarantee freedom, not just suggest it.
Software companies write insecure code. Robotics companies are no exception. But yes, go ahead and bring one into your home. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Fiat tech companies have the highest time preference possible. They’re always trying to get everything done immediately. I can’t wait to see the kind of tech made by hard money tech companies.
When a tech bro says something is a decade away, this is what he really means: “It’s not currently possible. Hopefully we get lucky sometime in the next ten years and discover something that makes it possible” Also, ten years is the longest time horizon they’re capable of thinking about.
I often think about how miraculous Satoshi and Bitcoin are. The fact that he built a system that works so well AND managed to stay completely anonymous is truly remarkable. I don’t think I enough people appreciate that. Thank God for Satoshi.
All of Peter Thiels cronies are going on huge podcasts to tell you that the surveillance state is actually a good thing. Yuck.
The good news is, if Oracle builds the Digital ID system, it will definitely be vulnerable and leave open the possibility of the return of hacktivism 😄
Accepted an offer for a new fiat job 😀 there’s also a chance I get to do some bitcoin oriented stuff, so I’m extra pumped.
I work with someone so incompetent, he’s legit dangerous. He’s managed to continuously gain power in the company we work at, and I’m genuinely concerned I’m going to get tied up in a legal issue because of his incompetence and confrontational nature. Yikes 😅
The idea of endlessly updating software for “new features” is incredibly fiat.
It’s really hard to watch your parents get old and wholesale buy everything doctors tell them. My dad has been convinced red meat will kill him. Nothing I can do to get him to see the light. My MIL has a very minor shoulder injury. She is convinced surgery is the only option, despite not having insurance and doing literally zero effort herself to fix it. Ugh.
I rarely wear deodorant anymore. My wife constantly tells me she loves how I smell 😅
The longer I’m in bitcoin, the more hilarious the panic is. No dip can phase me anymore.
I want to play Battlefield 6, but it doesn't work on linux and I absolutely refuse to run Windows. Sad.
