I don’t have an informed technical opinion on the whole knots vs core debate, but the knots people pushing this narrative around CSAM is HIGHLY suspect. Anytime someone is using fear as a bludgeon in a complicated, nuanced debate, I immediately turn against them. Not to say they’re wrong, but it’s just such an overused tactic by bad actors, there’s really no other option but to be skeptical.
