Given how things have been going lately, I have a strong suspicion Israel is behind this digital ID push. It seems criticism is mounting and close to a tipping point. So they’ve gotta shut that down. And lucky for them, our politicians are completely onboard. Funny how that works.

I live in an area with a ton of remote workers and when the internet is down, all the local Starbucks get an influx of people with their laptops. It’s actually kinda cringey 🤣 I feel embarrassed to be here among them. Need to figure out how to start some kind of side business where I resell Starlink bandwidth for days like this.

Literally my last day of fiat work for two months and my internet goes down, and not expected to come back until 10pm 🙃 Last time this happened, the root cause was someone shot the cable that brought internet to like 100k people. Knowing the state I’m in, probably happened again 😅😭

Found out today one of my friends is an experienced wood worker. He offered to come over sometime and start teaching me. Hyped 😀

I’ve worked in tech for nearly 15 years now. I’ve never been more unfulfilled than the last year. This summer I’m going to start learning some basic woodworking. It’s been forever since I’ve made something meaningful with my hands. I’m really excited about it.

End of the summer is shaping up nice. Gonna be off until end of September to finish paternity leave. Going to take my son fishing. Taking a wood turning class. Work on finishing a few coding projects. Going to be awesome.
