For those that are running multi-sig setups, what kinds of locations are you using to store your keys? How far apart geographically are you seperating? Are you asking friends/family to store them? Using storage units or safety deposit boxes? I am having a hard time figuring out the best way to do it. #asknostr
This is a great breakdown of Palantir and what they're up to. I'll be honest, when I first heard Whitney Webb talk about this, I thought it was paranoid bullshit. But, it looks like she was dead on.
Don’t let them force you to play their games, anon. Play your own game and don’t apologize.
I really don’t buy the idea that you must be super focused on your competitors and do what they do. I also don’t buy that we’re all competing all the time. I just want to be the best version of myself, even if that means not doing what they’re doing.
My neighborhood goes hard af with fireworks for 4th of July. It feels like walking through a war zone by 10pm through 4 am most times. Generally, I like fireworks but the older I get, the more ridiculous it is to me. My neighbor brags to me about how he’s spent $5k on fireworks. A large contingent of neighbors throw a fit when anyone suggests even simple things like a curfew so we can all sleep. I find it incredibly childish. They argue “but muh freedom” but they’ll never be caught protesting income tax or any other actual freedom infringement. Idk, maybe I’m just old and grouchy 🤷
All these cool nostr shops are making me want to learn to make something with my hands and sell it for sats 🤔
Ok hear me out - AWS services like S3, lambda, container management, and so on, but in a way that you can self host. Make it super easy to deploy self hosted applications with infra as code (terraform). Maybe it’s overcomplicating and something as simple as Start9 is good enough, but maybe not? 🤷
A guy I used to work with recently got a job at LightSpark. I asked how btc maxi they were and sounds like they are totally fiat maxi's. Sad.
When a company has their data stolen, the first thing they do is hire external council who’s sole job is to help the company weasel out of as much reporting as possible. If you were informed of a data breach, it’s because they literally couldn’t find a way to avoid telling you. Not getting informed does not mean you weren’t exposed.
