I have an old MacBook Pro that has only 8gb of memory and had become essentially useless because of how slow MacOS runs on it. Installed PopOS and now runs like a dream. MacOS is quickly becoming just as bad as windows IMO.

Today I listened to the All In podcast while they waxed poetically about how great the economy is by looking at the “data”. This is because data can never give you a complete picture, it is only what is measurable. Talk to any number of normal people today, and ask how they feel about the economy. All of the people in my IRL circle are stressed, tired, frustrated. Prices aren’t coming down, job opportunities are bleak, and employers are cracking the whip. I want to use Primal as my daily client so badly, but it’s so incredibly buggy. I love the UI but the bugs become unbearable. And the lack of NWC on iOS really kills my enthusiasm.
